​SAT INFORMATION FOR
SPRUCE CREEK HIGH SCHOOL

Spruce Creek High School WILL BE OPEN for the August 27th, 2022 administration of the SAT.  
Mask Policy: Volusia County Schools does NOT REQUIRE a mask on the premises. Therefore, masks are OPTIONAL for SAT testing at this school.

WHEN AND WHERE TO REPORT:
  • Park at Spruce Creek High Schools Student Parking Lot on the Clyde Morris Blvd side of school. 
  • Admission will be in the Main Atrium.
  • Arrive between 7:30am and 8am.  Doors close at 8am.

WHAT TO BRING: 
  • PRINTED Admission ticket and photo ID
    • ​I CANNOT admit a person without a photo ID. I cannot be a picture of your driver's license.   I can admit with a school ID, State ID card, or passport as well. 
  • Two #2 pencils with a good eraser
  • Approved Calculator (optional and the test may be done without one)  
Other Suggested Items: 
  • Water and light snacks will be allowed in designated areas during breaks
  • Light sweater if you're prone to being cold. 

CELL PHONE POLICY: 
  • Cell phones are prohibited throughout the entire test.  Students should leave the cell phone in his/her vehicle or store in the front of the room with the proctor before the exam.  
  • College Board is VERY  clear that the phone may not be in the care of the student throughout the entire test.  This includes breaks.  Should a student forget and accidentally have the phone on his/her person, the proctor and coordinator will have no choice but to invalidate the exam and ask the student to leave the building.

BEFORE YOU TEST:
  • Admission ticket (printed copy) and photo ID are required.  Lack of either will result in denial of admission.
  • Please bring your own mask, pencils, and (optional) calculator.  MASKS ARE OPTIONAL for the entire test. 
  • Be prepared to socially distance from others around you during breaks.  
  • Be ready to answer the questions below.  If you answer NO to any of the questions, you will be denied entry for the exam. 
    • In the past 14 days, I have not come into close contact (within 6 feet) with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 test or is presumed to have Covid-19.
    • I do not have Covid-19 or have reason to believe I have Covid-19. Symptoms of Covid-19 include cough, fever, chills, muscle pain, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
    • To my knowledge, I am not violating any travel restrictions or quarantining requirements.
    • I agree to wear a mask the entire time I'm at this test center and follow instructions from test center staff, otherwise I will be dismissed.
    • We have taken measures to help create a safe testing environment; however, it isn't possible to entirely remove the risk of Covid-19 exposure. By entering the testing room, you're accepting that risk.
